GEOS Busters by Kracker Jax Protection Busters is a Commodore 64 utility that removes the copy protection from GEOS and its applications. GEOS uses a serial number scheme — the first time an original disk is run it writes a two byte serial number to the disk, and subsequent loads verify this number, causing unprotected copies to reboot. GEOS Busters defeats this protection, allowing working backups to be made. Must be loaded and run from within the GEOS environment — it will not boot standalone. Supports GEOS v1.0, v1.2, v1.3, GEOS 128, GEOS Deskpak, Writers Workshop, geoFile, geoDex, geoCalc, geoPublish, geoSpell and geoWrite 128.
