NetAttache Light is a fully-functional first generation Web agent for the individual's desktop. It automates retrieval of Web pages and partial or full sites in the background, saving the pages on the local hard-disk, while you work with other applications. NetAttaché Light is an extremely useful Web access tool for the Web user who repeatedly visits groups of sites on the Web. In a nutshell, NNetAttaché Light offers a high degree of customization and embodies in a single application the best features of the first generation of Web agents. Web retrievals are organized within briefs - collections of URLs set by the user. Brief collections can be set at will or organized with specific criteria, such as a News Brief, containing pages of major on-line publications (e.g., The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, The San Jose Mercury News). The agent operates a fully functional spider individually set for each URL.
