NEC LaVie Recovery Resetup DVDs for NS750/EA Series

2016 · operating-system · driver · recovery · Windows · NEC

These are the recovery discs (in DVD to ISO format) for the NEC LAVIE NS750/EA Series of laptop PC's released in 2016. You install this over a blank HDD and the setup will wipe the full drive with a fresh copy of Windows 10 1511 (in Japanese) with all NEC LAVIE software from summer 2016 installed. This is supposed to be for LAVIE NS750/EA Series but will work in a Virtual Machine or another PC then the NS750/EA* laptops. List of target NEC laptop models include: PC-NS750EAB PC-NS750EAR PC-NS750EAG PC-NS750EAW Disk 1 boots into a NEC modified Windows 10 recovery partition. You will go through the NEC backup restore onto a formatted HDD/SSD of at least 80GB in size to create a new windows 10 1511 install. The language is in Japanese only (after install you can change the windows system to English, not including the NEC apps). During install you will need the other 4 disc's that have .SWM files that will form together to create a complete system image recovery/install. I do have a photo slideshow here showing the paths on what the install process looks like. To restore in a new VM (with UEFI, 120GB Storage, 4GB Memory & no internet) to see what its like: Select US keyboard. Select option 1/2 (with the wrench/screwdriver) Select option 2/4 (with wrench and says "NEC" at the start) Select option 1/3 "Re-setup" (With the image of a HDD) Select option 2/4 "Maximum" storage space wanted. When pop ups appear during loading, insert the next disc until no longer asks. It will then reboot several times and take a long time even on a fast computer. Do not force shutdown or provide any inputs into the computer until done. Go through MS/NEC Licence agreement, create user, and skip/decline McAfee/NEC auto. You should have a 2016 NEC Windows 10 install! If your interested in the wallpapers with this PC you can find them on this wallpaper fandom wiki I posted too: https://wallpapers.fandom.com/wiki/NEC_Wallpapers Update (April 25th 2024): I added a 7z file with the main wallpapers in original format and timestamps.
