VcdromX V3.5 Copyright (c) 1998-99 Huang Jianhua WWW: http://hjh98.virtualave.net Email: vcdromx@21cn.com ___________________________________________________________________ Logicraft/IMSI's virtual CDROM and Farstone's virtual DRIVE are excellent CDROM simulators for Windows 95/98/NT4, they can be used to completely and perfectly duplicate CDROM disks and store them on hard disks in the format of VCDROM file (respectively named as FCD file and VCD file). However in mose cases, there are plenty of files in the CDROM seem to be useless to you, and accordingly you don't want them to be stored in your VCDROMs, or some times you wish to make your important files scattered in your hard disks into VCDROM so as to keep them safely from accidental modification (or deletion) and virus infection. But it's a pity that none of these virtual CDROM programs does offer this function, in other words, they couldn't make VCDROM from selective files and directories. VcdromX is just a utility that intends to help you to build VCDROM files from any directories and any files located anywhere, not simply CDROM disk duplication, so it greatly extends the abilities of those virtual CDROM programs. VcdromX runs under Win95/98/NT without particular system requirements. Just run VcdromX35.exe in the distributrion archive to install it. VcdromX is a shareware. you may try it without time limitation, however some functions are disabled if not registered.
