Olympus CA1 Intel Minicard Driver CD

1999 · operating-system · driver · Windows · Olympus

Up for download here is the ISO for the driver CD for the Olympus PC Card Adapter CA1, which is the only adapter ever made for the Intel Minicard (or Miniature Card) flash format. As far as I'm aware, the format was used in two or so Olympus audio recorders and HP's first ever digital camera (Photosmart, Model C5340A) released in 1995. If you have this type of media, the only way to read it without a data transfer cable from your camera/audio recorder (also proprietary in the case of my HP camera) is with the CA1 adapter and likely a vintage laptop with a PCMCIA card slot. You will also need the drivers on this CD. The CD is harder to come by than the adapters themselves, which are already difficult to find, so I figured I would upload the software for everyone. Have fun! P.S. Taking 90s quality digital photos with HP's first camera is pretty entertaining :-)
