Students can practice math, science, history, vocabulary, foreign languages, U.S. states, state capitols, and more, while teachers can use PC-Quizzer to administer tests or help students who need a little extra attention in a problem subject. PC-Quizzer is a computer-based testing and training package, which lets you easily create lessons without having to know any complex programming languages. Lessons are displayed in simple windows, where the students is asked a question, then given a prompt for the answer. The students has the ability to get help, if necessary. This program is an excellent educational tool! If your computer has a VOTRAX Type'n Talk, Personal Speech System, or ECHO synthesizer, you can even produce speech simulation with PC-Quizzer! The program also comes with a great EGA/VGA sign language demo! You set program features such as immediate re-try of missed questions, repeat of missed questions, and random or sequential selection of questions. You can also count close answers as being correct (where the spelling of the answer is close but not exactly right), display the correct answer when you are incorrect, and more! Choose true or false, fill-in the blank, or multiple choice questions. Create your own quiz files with any standard text editor or word processor, then load them into PC-Quizzer. Make your own graphics for PC-Quizzer using any graphics, painting or application program! Make use of colored text and graphics, and even music! PC-Quizzer may be used with either color or monochrome monitors. NOTE: When creating your own quiz files, the length of each quiz line should not exceed 100 characters. Also, a maximum of 100 questions may be entered into any one question file. The program supports color graphics through the use of BSAVE and PCX graphics files. The documentation file for PC-Quizzer, QUIZ.DOC, is 21 pages long, and contains instructions for building your own quiz files. The files that came with this diskette are samples which are intended to show the format you will need to use to build your own quiz files.
