Kracker Jax Protection Busters - Volumes 1 to 9

utility · application · Commodore 64 · Kracker Jax

Kracker Jax Protection Busters is a Commodore 64 parameter-based copy protection defeat system released in volumes 1 through 9. Each disk contains around 100 parameters — small routines that target the specific protection scheme used by individual commercial titles, allowing the fast copier to deprotect them and produce a working backup. Covers a wide range of protection schemes including RapidLok, V-MAX!, Vorpal, TIMEX, Timeworks and many others. The series also includes Bull's Eye — which adds a RapidLok copier covering all 8 versions of RapidLok, a Timeworks copy utility, and a GEOS backup utility — plus the Elite series and the Hacker's Utility Kit, which contains a disk logger, opcode editor, pattern finder and nibble copier for examining and manipulating protected disks.
