Staying on the subject of national operating systems, let's move South to India, shall we? Ah, India, the Land of Spices, and also the land of operating systems, apparently. Here I present BOSS (Bharat Operating System Solutions), a Debian-based distro created by the C-DAC (Centre for the Development of Advanced Computing) in 2006. There isn't anything super special about this one. Unlike Red Star, it doesn't leak your data to the government, and it has full English support at the first step of the Installer. All in all, a pretty run-of-the-mill OS. Note: The password for the user "user" is "password".
