This is a Computer Based Laboratory (C. BL) system that lets you acquire kinematic data of a moving object by only using a standard PC and a Web cam (or any other video capture device). It can be used in physics teaching and learning to analyze the motion of a suitable object in real time. Simply plug a Web cam into your PC, click on the object you want to track and start data logging by clicking on one button. The object's position and velocity will then be shown in real time in diagrams and in a table. All data can be exported for further analysis.
